I love Start Strong Wichita. An abusive relationship can be a rocky point in someone’s life and they gave me support when they didn’t even know it. Even if someone doesn’t feel safe to leave their abuser, TAP is made up of real teens you can talk to and trust. We treat everyone like family even if they only make it to one event. Through education and healing I left the abuser behind and began teaching teens about abuse and speaking my testimony so I can show that abuse is real. It’s out there. And we can stop it. Start Strong Wichita gave me that, and I try to give that back. Everyone belongs in TAP.
