1.) Keeper on the Plains (Cost = FREE)
Every 15 minutes starting at 9:00pm, the Ring of Fire surrounding the Keeper lights up the statue and surrounding area. Parking is available on both the north and south ends of the bridges. While you are there, see if you can find the statue troll locked underground, the Indian Artifacts along the wall leading up to the Keeper, and the Walkways that line the river on both sides. 2.) Northrock Theatres (Tickets for 2 = $12)
On Sundays before 6pm, all Family tickets to Northrock theatres are $6 each. If seeing movies month after their release is not a big deal, The Palace has the best rates at 2 for $5 but if you are interested in seeing the movie before it comes out on blu-ray, Northrock Theatres is the rate and the best Theatre in Wichita for a great quality experience and an affordable rate. I have another cheap date idea. With the weather getting warmer, go on a walk or ride your bikes together ending up at Braum’s for ice cream! When you are away from TV or other distractions you will really focus on each other and can have some good discussion. It is an especially good way to get to know someone.
